As the Pyclet Parlour and pyclets themselves are a part of Derby’s rich heritage we pride ourselves in sourcing some of our ingredients from local businesses to ensure that both our customers get the freshest, tastiest flavours and that we are directly contributing to our local economy so that local small businesses like ourselves benefit directly from our trade.
The smoked salmon for our posh pyclets and oatcake wraps is sourced fresh from Stewart Bailey fishmongers in Derby's Fish Market
The free range eggs poached on our Eggs Benedict, baked in our Welsh Rarebit and whisked in to our home style pancakes are all sourced locally from Betty's Farm in Willington where you can see them running free around the Farm, see their nesting boxes and visit the fascinating egg sorting room.
You can also buy our pyclets and oatcakes from the farm shop and in their cafe.
From the fresh fruit in our pancakes and on our desserts to the herbs in our pyclets and on our dishes we like to shop fresh and shop local at our neighbours Martin's Fruit and Veg
We support as local as we can possibly get, buying our cheese from Morgan's Deli opposite us, where we also pick up a range of ingredients including UK based chutneys and jams for our pyclets.
The fresh steak for our philly cheesesteak and bacon on many of our dishes come from local independent butchers Cleaver Meats (also our neighbours in the Eagle Market)
